Rick Everly is an award-winning professional with over 55 years of experience behind the lens. A Michigan native, he began his studies in photography in the early 1970s as a top student at the distinguished Center for Creative Studies in Detroit under the tutelage of the late Walter Farnyk, a Motor City automotive photography pioneer. In the decades that followed, Rick worked as a Senior Industrial Photographer for both the Bendix and Eaton corporations, where he received several local and national honors for his work in creative advertising. In 1990, the Kodak Company selected his work among thousands for display as part of The Professional Photographers' Showcase at Walt Disney World's Epcot Center in Orlando, Florida

Today, Rick seeks out expression in the natural beauty of landscape photography over the rattle and hum of his industrial roots. He hopes his images help inspire viewers to appreciate the wonder of America’s natural places, especially the beauty of the Great Lakes state.

He is a proud member of the Brighton Art Guild.
Rick lives in Howell, Michigan where he loves and misses his long lost best friend and wife Sandy.
